You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We will send one final confirmation message and will cease further SMS contact unless you re-opt-in. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to receive email communications or use our services.

3.4 A2P 10DLC Infrastructure

All SMS messages sent by Commitle are delivered through registered A2P 10DLC numbers that are approved by The Campaign Registry (TCR) and compliant with major US carrier requirements. This registration ensures message deliverability and protects recipients from spam.

3.5 SMS Messaging for Client Automations

When Commitle builds AI SMS automation systems for clients, the client is the data controller for all customer data processed through those systems. Commitle acts as a data processor in that context and processes data only in accordance with the client's documented instructions and applicable law. Each client automation maintains its own A2P 10DLC registration and consent records.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Consent: For SMS communications and any optional marketing communications, based on your express opt-in
  • Contract performance: To deliver services you have engaged us for
  • Legitimate interests: For website analytics, fraud prevention, and improving our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights
  • Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws and regulations

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections

We never share SMS opt-in data or consent records with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:

  • Inquiry and contact data: Up to 3 years after last contact, unless you request deletion
  • SMS consent records: Minimum of 4 years from the date of consent, as required for TCPA compliance documentation
  • Client project data: As specified in the applicable client agreement, typically 3–5 years post-project
  • Website analytics: Up to 26 months in anonymized/aggregated form
